MEET THE HOST

ANDROMEDA RODRIGUEZ (they/she)

Content Editor

Andromeda Rodriguez started their journey at BALANCE as the Content Editor and Marketing Assistant in November 2022. They graduated from Champlain College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Media, with specializations in visual arts, filmmaking, and creative writing. Andromeda’s photography has since been featured in New York art festivals, galleries, and BALANCE’s own website in their staff photography.

Andromeda’s Pride Zine, released in October 2022, gave them the unique opportunity to publicly present their zine to the Northern Illinois University audience in April 2023 to positive acclaim and outstanding reception.

Additionally, Andromeda’s poetry has been featured in a number of literary magazines both foreign and domestic, as well as in poetry clubs and reading events in New York and abroad. As the Cinematographer and Creative Consultant, their upcoming project, My Fierce Aunt Bianca, will premiere at the Inside Out Toronto Film Festival in June 2023.

Andromeda is excited to bring their diverse background and passion for positive representation to BALANCE’s marketing team.
