Relinquishing Control Around the Holidays

For some people, the holidays are anticipated with excitement all year round. The seasonal festivities make this time of year an annual highlight.

On the other hand, some may experience a sense of dread this time of year. A pit in their stomach tells them that everything must be perfect.

Increased holiday stress and pressure can harm your well-being and mental health.

While you may try to make the holidays “just right” for yourself and your loved ones, these unrealistic expectations often only lead to pain and discomfort.

But you are not alone. The holidays can be difficult.

Reclaim your power this holiday season.

Imagine your holiday season not being dictated by the pressure to be perfect or OCD compulsions. You could…

  • Relax at mealtime.

  • Feel unarmored around family and loved ones.

  • Be present for seasonal festivities.

  • Let go of control and gain freedom.

  • And finally, diffuse the power intrusive thoughts hold over you.

Benefits of this Webinar Include:

  • Learn why holidays and the anticipation of a new year can aggravate perfectionism.

  • Identify how holiday stress can impact eating disorders and OCD recovery.

  • Understand the relationship between eating disorders, intrusive thoughts, and compulsive behaviors.

  • Gain practical tools for your recovery to manage intrusive thoughts and find more peace this holiday season.
