LEAD INTAKE COORDINATOR (she/her/hers)

Erin is the Lead Intake Coordinator at BALANCE eating disorder treatment center™. She recently graduated from George Washington University in Washington, DC where she studied Psychology, Nutrition, and Public Health. As an undergrad, she worked as a research assistant, exploring how psychological, environmental, and biological factors influence important health-related decisions, behaviors, and conditions.

As someone with close friends who have struggled with eating disorders, Erin understands just how detrimental they can be to one’s emotional and physical health, and how important it is to acknowledge the various factors that can play a role in one’s development of and experience with an eating disorder.

Before coming to BALANCE, she worked as a recovery coach at Center for Discovery Residential Treatment Center. While there, she was able to explore these interactions while also making a hands-on impact, which solidified her passion for working with this population.

She understands that the relationship between psychology and health is incredibly complex, and is dedicated to furthering her knowledge and awareness of this to ensure a comprehensive and holistic method of treatment.
